Side-by-side homes to give you double the space for your family. Yes, that’s two kitchens, two great rooms, two dining areas, two decks, two container pools, and two family rooms.

With two full size couches plus side chairs, there’s plenty of seating for the family around the massive fireplaces. The perfect setting for family game night, lake planning chats, and family bonding conversations.

Fully equipped kitchens that meet the needs of even the most discerning chef. Each features modern appliances, ample counter space, and all the necessary cookware and utensils, including our KitchenAid mixers, standard for all our properties.

Thistle Cottage boasts 6 spacious bedrooms and Claymore Cottage has 5 of its own, each featuring its own en suite bathroom, providing the utmost comfort and privacy for all guests. With king beds in every room, a restful night’s sleep is ensured for everyone.
ACCESSIBILITY and DOGS
We understand the importance of including every member of the family, that’s why both Thistle Cottage and Claymore Cottage are dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your beloved four-legged companions along on your vacation.
Both properties have been designed with accessibility in mind, making them wheelchair-friendly and providing convenience for all visitors.
Ramp entry to the main levels, plus each home has a bedroom with extra room around the bed and a bathroom with grab bars at the toilet and the shower as well as a handheld showerhead.

Swimming Pools
The outdoor pool is awesome: Splash pad, lounge area, and the swimming area. Open roughly end of May through end of September.
The indoor pool is open year round and has both a large pool and a kiddie pool.
Walk to the lake
Hike down to the lake from our neighborhood! It’s about a 3 minute walk, but wear good shoes as it’s a dirt path. Watch this quick video to see the path at 7x speed.
Boat parking
This neighborhood does not have parking for boats, trailers, buses or RVs. However, there is a secure parking/storage located next to the neighborhood where you can reserve a boat parking spot for during your stay. Contact Heartland Storage directly to reserve your boat’s spot.
