Adreneline rush for even those afraid of heights

 I like the way it takes curves like you’re in a race car.

I’m not a roller coaster fan and I always hate the anticipation of being pulled up to the top of a roller coaster, but not this: I look forward to the thrill of taking off.

Kailey: My favorite part is after the curvy descent down the mountain, when your cart is pulled up to the top of the hill on the pulley system.

You’re in the middle of the woods, so you get to enjoy beautiful nature around you, while also relaxing after your adrenaline rush!

They sometimes even play music on your ride up, so if you can’t calm your energy down after you ride, you can sing it out!

The welcoming atmosphere and the friendly and very helpful staff made my experience very memorable.

They took great care of each guest, making sure safety and comfort were top priority.

The ride experience from start to finish is full of gorgeous scenery that truly gives a glimpse of the Ozarks landscape. 

Overview

The Branson Coaster on the 76 strip is a must-do for your trip to Branson! It’s the thrill of a roller coaster, but in your own personal cart, with you controlling your speed. 

You descend through scenic trees as gravity takes over, sending you down a series of twists and turns. When you get to the bottom of the mountain, you sit back and enjoy a relaxing, scenic ascent back to the top. 

Unlike a normal roller coaster, this coaster allows you to enjoy the ride at your own pace with hand brakes that control the speed. So you can enjoy a fun, fast-paced adventure, or a slow, leisurely ride. 

The wait times are short, and the staff does an excellent job keeping things moving efficiently while still taking the time to explain all the rules so everyone feels safe.

Fair warning: they do take your photo during the ride, which some of our team was not prepared for at all… and it shows.

Your face might end up looking a little wild, but it definitely adds to the fun and makes a great memory to take home with you!

IF you don’t want to ride the coaster

There is a really nice viewing deck for family or friends who aren’t riding, where you can watch and wave to your family as they zoom down the coaster.

Additionally there’s plenty of nice seating available and shade, making a great spot to get comfortable and hang out.

It’s also the perfect location to take photos of other riders and their faces when they start flying down! 

Gift shop, souvenirs and mining activity

The Branson Coaster gift shop has a wide variety of t-shirts and other souvenirs like hats and keychains.

The mining activity begins in the gift shop where you can purchase bags of sand and take them over to their tiered water system to sift through and find crystals and unique rocks that you’ll get to bring home with you.

It’s a really fun add-on to keep the kiddos who aren’t riding entertained…and the adults too!
