Taney County (the area is spread over two different counties – Taney County and Stone County) Health Department is recommending that everyone wears a face mask when in indoor public spaces. At this time, it is only a recommendation, not a law. The City of Branson does not have a law on the books like other cities as of today.
If there is a specific activity or attraction you are looking forward to, we highly recommend calling that business to find out if reservations are needed as many places are operating on limited capacity. We do our best to keep an eye on announcements in the various Facebook groups and business social media pages for the local attractions, but we don’t see them all.
Back to what you and your family want to really know — will you still be able to stay at our places this summer, fall, and beyond? The answer is YES. We want you to know that your reservation is not going anywhere unless you choose to do so.
We are looking forward to hosting you and your family. Our housekeepers are continuing their extremely high standards of cleaning and preparing our places for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE — you CAN still purchase a standard travel insurance policy, up to 30 days before your arrival. The standard policy covers quite a few reasons for cancellation and applies to your whole traveling group from what we understand. However, we do not sell insurance nor play an insurance agent on TV so cannot advise you, nor require you, to purchase it.
Note that all new reservations have the option of purchasing a Cancel For Any Reason insurance policy besides the standard travel insurance policy. You can purchase this when you make your reservation with us, and the insurance is automatically connected to your stay.
If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to having you soon!
